Developing healthy eating habits is pivotal in today’s society. Chefs for Kids is a program that will provide education on how food has molded urban communities. Our program will instruct children on how to produce books on the history of food-specifically geared towards children living in urban areas. The program will also provide education on the production of short documentaries. Chefs for Kids will include cooking classes with local chefs that have expertise in the preparation of foods with urban themes and chefs that have engaged sponsorships-in the way of food donations-from such companies as Kraft Foods, General Mills, Quaker Oats, etc.
